Assist communities currently under-served for home Internet access to:
    • Connect to the Internet wirelessly using low-cost computing devices such as: tablets, netbooks, and donated computers;
    • Create a Digital Literacy training program to teach basic computer skills; and

eCommUnity - A Community Effort

About Our Organization
eCommUnity is a volunteer-based organization with the mission of providing both low-cost wireless Internet access and digital literacy training for low-income urban communities lacking adequate access to digital technologies.
Become a Volunteer
We need volunteers to assist residents with setting up wireless mesh networks, working with community leaders to provide digital literacy training, and setting up small computer labs using donated computers and free and open source software.

Service Opportunities
